the Bird Day are indie pop/psychedelic band from New York, US. They self-proclaim as “PsychPop”, well, at least that’s what written on their facebook page info.

their sounds remind me of the old MGMT, Passion Pit, and a little bit of Mew

i don’t know how many album they have released, i only got Collect Vibrations, Colors_Melting 2011, Her New Touch, and the birD day EP while i was googling

well, Minnaars are indie/math rock/dance punk band from Midlands, United Kingdom.  they’ve been one of my favorite bands that i found from a random download through the internet,

(it was their self-titled EP that i downloaded back then)

Busy Hands and Are Lovers have been included in “Of Our Delirious Former Loving Hours” before, so only two songs that are really brand new.

btw, the picture i posted was made last night. i didn’t know what i wanted to do at that time, so messing up with Photoshop was the option i took.

(well, messing up with Photoshop was a good choice actually, i could express what’s on my mind)

i got the letters from Toro y Moi’s Causers of This lyric. the lyric really suited with my feeling while i was listening to it

i was checking my old notebooks when i found this doodle on the back of one of my notebooks, then i scanned this thing

it wasn’t too old actually, i made it a few months ago (not like these doodles (that were made on the back of my notebook too) i’ve posted before)

i really liked it, even though it was the long-time consuming thing when i was doing it (even it’s still unfinished until now)

btw, speaking of Toro y Moi, have you heard his new song fom his upcoming album, Underneath the Pine ?

his new song is titled  ”Still Sound” and the song’s really catchy. forget the electronic tools that toro y moi always used

i’ve heard his electronic project in two years ago. Skrillex is Sonny Moore’s electronic project after he left From First to Last, after he released another electronic project under the name “Sonny”.

i don’t really get into electro genres actually, but his new EP really made me curious.

It sounds different with his Gypsyhook EP (under the name “Sonny”, not “Skrillex”)

i’m kinda surprised when i saw this Skrillex post has very often topped my blog stats

i think this post should be updated, since the new EP of Skrillex’s been released from months ago (since October 2010, to be exact)

the title of his new EP is Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, and the songs are quite good, people keep saying this is dubstep, but heck, i don’t really care with his genre

on 2007,  Caitlin Duff took over the vocalist from their previous vocalist (although their previous vocalist didn’t leave the band)

and maybe that made their musical direction changed a bit (okay, i don’t know exactly, i think their music changed a bit when it compared with their first EP).
